Dengue Fever

Dengue fever is a mosquito-borne disease caused by different viruses. The disease is mainly found in tropical or jungle regions. Epidemics have been reported in parts of the Caribbean and Central America. Dengue fever starts with a fever that may last from five to seven days with intense headache, joint and muscle pain and a rash. If left untreated, dengue fever may lead to shock and death.
