Signs of a Bed Bug Infestation

Bed bugs are hard to find! They are very small and usually only come out at night or in the dark. They often hide in the seams of mattresses and box springs, and along the edges of beds and other furniture. It is common to find signs of bed bugs before ever seeing a bed bug. Below is a list of common signs of a bed bug infestation.

  1. Itchy red bumps on your body. These bumps can easily be mistaken for mosquito bites or spider bites.

  3. Black spots along baseboards, in corners, in and around outlets covers, or along the edge of carpets.
  4. Blood stains on sheets, blankets, and pillow cases. Dried remains of shed bed bug skins on your bedding or other furniture.
