Swimmers Itch

Swimmer’s itch is a skin rash caused by tiny parasites in fresh and salt water sources. The parasites burrow into the nearby swimmer’s skin, causing an allergic reaction and rash. Symptoms include tingling, burning, itching of skin, small reddish pimples, small blisters. Continued exposure to contaminated water increases the likelihood of developing serious symptoms.
